In 1699, the Capuchin order established a hospice in the former collegiate buildings, breathing new life into the site. This chapter of the monastery's history lasted until 1802, when secularization swept through Bavaria, leading to the dissolution of many religious institutions, including the Capuchin hospice at Moosburg.
Although the original Benedictine structures have not survived, the Kastulus Minster stands as a majestic reminder of the site's religious heritage.
