Today, the second and third floors of the original house feature exhibits that chronicle the lives of the Edwards family, offering visitors a glimpse into early 20th-century life.

Founded by two visionary women, Jody Newman and Barbie Freund, The Magic House was designed to be both educational and fun. When it first opened in October 1979, it was expected to accommodate 30,000 visitors annually. However, the museum welcomed a staggering 165,000 guests in its first year alone.
